You missed a couple of cons…
You must completely remove the perch to recharge so the birds have nothing to land on during charging.
Batteries dont last long between charges
Batteries are not replaceable - After two years they will no longer hold a charge more than a day or two.Never had a rain problem though and when it works it works perfectly.
